Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) removed Geraldine Rauch, President of the Technical University Berlin (TU), from his circle of advisors of the "Zukunftsrat" ("Future Council") due to accusations from CDU and Springer Press leveled against her for liking a post on X that contains an image associating Netanjahu with Nazi symbols. Members of the Academic Senate and politicians at the federal level had also called for her resignation as the President of TU.
