Lunatic Festival disinvited Jüdische Stimme and Students for Palestine Lüneburg on short notice after pressure from sponsors, including its main funder, the Federal Commissioner for Culture and Media (BKM). The decision followed a public statement by the Jewish Student Union (JSUD) and VJSNord, who condemned their participation and called for the festival’s funding to be withdrawn.
